Golf Simulator Etiquette at Hensey Sports 2023
These rules preserve the golf simulator quality and our guests’ safety and enjoyment. All users of the simulator are expected to follow these rules and guidelines.
- Golf clubs, shoes, and sneakers must be clean. Spiked golf shoes are prohibited.
- Golf balls must be brand new (clean, with no nicks, scuffs, cuts or blemishes, and not have any marker or Sharpie on them as it could harm the screen).
- Only enter the golf simulator when it is your turn to play.
- Use plastic tees only ( wood golf tees are not allowed). We have tees available for your use.
- Do not go behind the simulator screen at any time.
- Youth under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- Stay alert at all times while inside the simulator room. Do not move around the room while a golfer is on the platform swinging a club.
- Swinging should only occur on the mat’s hitting area. Do not swing or practice outside of the simulator for safety reasons. All shots must be directed toward the center of the hitting screen.
- Food and drinks are prohibited in the golf simulator room but may be kept in the reception area outside the golf simulator.
- Alcohol, smoking, or vaping is strictly prohibited.
- Customers may be held financially responsible for any damage caused by misuse or failure to follow these rules.
- Golf Simulator is under surveillance and must be staffed.
- We hope you can finish your planned round; however, if another group is booked after you, we will promptly transition the simulator to the next group at the end of your scheduled time.
Tips to Follow

- Stretch before you swing;
- Remember that even though there is no specific dress code, please dress appropriately. For example, your can dress in golf attire or workout clothes.
- Practice balls and tees are available.
- If you want the best accuracy with our FlightScope X3 launch monitor, we have golf balls with metallic dots available, or we will supply you with the metallic dots to apply to your golf ball.
- We use GS Pro simulator software for practice and golf course play. The time for an experienced player to play 18 holes is about 1 hour. Thus, a foursome would take 4 hours.
